Nittany Lions in the NFL - Week 11

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - A total of 40 Penn State alums are populating the rosters of 23 National Football League teams. The Nittany Lions are perennially a top-20 program in producing players in the NFL. Each week throughout the year, GoPSUsports.com provides updates on the exploits of these former Nittany Lion greats.
 
The week was highlighted by Amani Oruwariye making a key interception in the endzone for the Detroit Lions to halt a scoring drive by Teddy Bridgewater and the Carolina Panthers. Wide receiver also highlighted Penn State performances in the NFL South, as the Tampa Bay receiver made a touchdown grab, the third of the season for him.
 
Defensive tackle Robert Windsor made his first career NFL appearance for the Indianapolis Colts. On the other side of the ball for his opponent, the Green Bay Packers, Adrian Amos made seven tackles and defended a pass.
