Nittany Lions in the NFL – Week 8

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - A total of 41 Penn State alums are populating the rosters of 23 National Football League teams. The Nittany Lions are perennially a top-20 program in producing players in the NFL. Each week throughout the year, GoPSUsports.com provides updates on the exploits of these former Nittany Lion greats.
 
Highlighting the week were former Nittany Lion wide receivers DaeSean Hamilton and KJ Hamler, who led the Broncos to a fourth-quarter, comeback win over the Chargers. Hamilton caught a 40-yard touchdown with 7:30 remaining in the game to bring Denver within three, and after the Chargers made it a touchdown game with a field goal, Hamler stayed in bounds as the clock ran out for a 3-yard touchdown reception. Fellow receiving alum Allen Robinson II (Bears) continues to rank among the NFL's Top 10 in receiving and scored his third touchdown of the season.
 
On defense, Adrian Amos (Packers) led his team in tackles, while veteran Sean Lee (Cowboys) made his season debut after coming off injured reserve.
