Penn State Football Signs Fifteen to 2021 Class

Opens in a new window Signing Day Central

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – Head coach James Franklin unveiled the 2021 Penn State Football recruiting class today during the Signing Day celebration, presented by The Penn State Alumni Association in the Lasch Football Building.

Penn State welcomed 15 student-athletes, who signed National Letters of Intent to join the football program. Seven of the signees will be early enrollees in January – Nate Bruce, Jeffrey Davis Jr., Kalen King, Kobe King, Rodney McGraw, Landon Tengwall and Christian Veilleux.

The Nittany Lions signed eight recruits that were rated four stars or higher by 247Sports, ESPN or Rivals.

Penn State again found success in the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast regions as six of the signees came from within a 200-mile radius of State College. The Nittany Lions' class features players from eight different states and provinces, with four coming from Pennsylvania and Michigan, two from Maryland, and one form Alabama, Connecticut, Illinois, Ohio and Ontario.

The Class of 2021 features seven offensive signees, seven defensive players and one specialist. There are 10 team captains, two players who have won a state championship and an All-American Bowl selection (Tengwall).
