Toby's full bio

Why Penn State?

The reason why I chose Penn State is not only for its wonderful academic program but for its unity and school spirit. It's one of the best things that the school offers.

What is your major?

My major is kinesiology because I want to pursue a career in physical therapy.

What are your strengths as a player?

As a player, the thing that really stands out probably for other people is my athleticism and my height. My athleticism, which includes my vertical, which is really good against competing other middles.

What is your biggest volleyball accomplishment?

I got a bid to nationals. I really enjoyed that. This was my first bid I ever got to nationals. I never got another bid. It was also my third tournament. So that was really a game changer for me.

Did you know…Toby was chosen team MVP three years in a row for his high school team and was an all-conference performer his junior season (2019).
