UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – The Penn State Women's Gymnastics team has set dates and times for three meets, including its home meet against Ohio State.
The Nittany Lions' home meet against Ohio State has been moved to Sunday, February 21 at 2 p.m. It was originally scheduled for February 22. The Buckeyes are currently ranked 13th in the RoadToNationals standings.
Penn State's meet at Maryland, scheduled for Friday, February 5, has been set for 5 p.m. The Nittany Lions fell 194.875-193.875 against the Terrapins last Sunday. Maryland sits 22nd in the RoadToNationals rankings.
The Nittany Lions' meet at Ohio State has been set for Sunday, March 7 at 2 p.m. The meet will be competed as a non-conference contest.
Under current Big Ten guidelines, public tickets will not be sold for 2021 Penn State Women's Gymnastics home meets.
Penn State, led by Head Coach Sarah Brown, returns to Rec Hall this Saturday, January 23, as it takes on No. 29 Nebraska at 2 p.m.
In its season opener vs. Maryland, the Nittany Lions earned a 48.950 on vault, it's highest score in an opener since 2013. Sophomore Cassidy Rushlow won her second career all-around title, while junior Melissa Astarita won her fourth career floor title. Freshman Natalie Cross earned PSU's highest tally on vault and beam.
