UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – The Penn State men's and women's fencing teams will head to Philadelphia, Pa. this Sunday, February 21, for their second dual meet series of the season hosted by Temple University.
Both teams will compete against North Carolina and St. John's. Additionally, the Penn State women will fence Temple and the Penn State men will fence NJIT.
Fencing for the women this weekend will be:
Foil (4-2 team dual record) – Lodovica Bicego (Vicenza, Italy), Samantha Catantan (Quezon City, Philippines), Sofia McGoff-Medero (Gurabo, Puerto Rico)
Epee (5-1 team dual record) – Kateryna Chorniy (Kyiv, Ukraine), Helen Myers (Victorville, Calif.), Axelle Wasiak (Vlaams-Brabant, Belgium)
Saber (0-6 team dual record) – Pauline Conscience (Paris, France), Ximena Iriarte-Estrada (Huixquilucan, Mexico), Zara Moss (Cranberry Township, Pa.), Kelli Wozniak (Westerville, Ohio)
Fencing for the men this weekend will be:
Foil (1-4 team dual record) – Sebastiano Bicego (Vicenza, Italy), Arwen Borowiak (Tauberbischofsheim, Germany), Aidan Johnson (Oceanport, N.J.), Konner Paik (Norwood, N.J.)
Epee (3-2 team dual record) – Elias Cole (Chappaqua, N.Y.), Ryan Griffiths (Fair Lawn, N.J.), Peter Kambeseles (Brooklyn, N.Y.), Jonathan Piskovatskov (Houston, Texas)
Saber (2-3 team dual record) - Inti Farfan-Bayerl (Morrison, Colo.), Ethan Mullenix (San Francisco, Calif.), Clement Perrier (Allauch, France), Stepan Sevostyanov (Corona, N.Y.)
Temple will be recognizing all senior fencers, including Lodovica Bicego, Inti Farfan-Bayerl, Zara Moss and Kelli Wozniak, at 1 p.m. as part of the Invitational.

Following this weekend's action, the Nittany Lions will have a brief time off from competition and are expected to return to action in March for the NCAA Championships in State College, Pa. Planning meetings for the NCAA Championship are slated to begin soon.
