WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - The Penn State men's and women's diving team concluded their 2021 Big Ten Championships on Saturday evening at Purdue University in the Morgan J. Burke Aquatic Center.

Junior Jonah Cey impressed on the final day of competition with a 13th overall finish and fifth place finish in consolation (B) finals in the men's platform (299.35).
On the first day of diving competition, Sophomore Kevin Sullivan led the Nittany Lions with a fifth-place finish in the 1-meter consolation finals. His score of 291.30 earned him 13th overall.
Junior Sierra Shurts led the Nittany Lion female divers at B1G Championships with a 15th overall and seventh-place finish in the consolation finals of the women's platform (203.25).
In the women's 3-meter, Shurts was also the top scorer for the Penn State women with a 260.20.
Junior Logan Krabbe placed 19th for Penn State in the men's platform (228.35) on his first try at the event since joining the team in 2019.
Senior Bryce Hoch highlighted the men's 3-meter with a final score of 283.95 in the event. Following narrowly behind him was Cey, whose efforts earned him 281.45.
Sophomore Wei Wei also competed in the platform event on day two with a final score of 140.85.
Sullivan and Krabbe also represented the Nittany Lions in the 3-meter. They dove for 259.35 and 241.90, respectively.
Senior Kamryn Umbel concluded her diving career on day two of competition. She scored 244.05 in the 3-meter and 237.60 in the 1-meter
