THE MATCHUP
Penn State enters the weekend with an 11-0 record all-time against Charleston. While Penn State's win streak was snapped at 11 matches last weekend, the Nittany Lions still sport the most wins in DI-II men's volleyball.

PSU downed Charleston in two sweeps earlier this season at Rec Hall, March 5-6. Cal Fisher and Brett Wildman had back-to-back matches with double-digit kills both nights.

BANTLE LOCKING IT DOWN
Will Bantle was named EIVA Defensive Player of the Week for his performance last weekend at George Mason, his second time winning the award in his career and the second Nittany Lion to pick up the accolade in as many weeks (Wildman).

Bantle tied his single match best with 19 digs last Saturday and finished the weekend with 24 digs and a 28-29 mark on serve receive.

GO FISH
Cal Fisher's 32 kills at George Mason led the way to him earning Off the Block National Opposite of the Week honors. He also had six service aces, upping his nation-leading total to 43.

Penn State is 14-1 this season when Fisher has double-digit kills. He is Penn State's top point scorer (263.5) and kills leader (211).

ON THE VERGE
Penn State is one victory away from clinching its 30th EIVA regular season title and finishing atop the EIVA standings for the 31st time.

It would be Penn State's first regular season championship since 2017, which is also the last time PSU both hosted the EIVA Tournament and won the EIVA postseason title.
