Four from Women’s Golf Named WGCA All-American Scholars

CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. -Earlier Tuesday afternoon, four student-athletes from the Penn State women's golf team were honored as All-American Scholars by the Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA).

Junior's Sarah Willis (Eaton, Ohio) and Taylor Waller (Cannonsburg, Pa.) along with sophomore's Mathilde Delavallade (Royan, France) and Isha Dhruva (Katy, Texas) each received this prestigious honor.

For Willis this is the third time she has earned this distinction while it marks the second time Delavallade has been honored and the first time each for Dhruva and Waller.

To be selected to the All-American Scholar Team one must have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.50, this is one of the most stringent criteria in all of college athletics. This year 1,432 women's collegiate golfers were recognized with this prestigious honor.
