UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – The Big Ten Conference unveiled the 2021-22 women's basketball schedule Wednesday afternoon. The 18-game conference slate features five "double-play" opponents and eight "single-play" opponents.
Conference play tips off for Penn State on the road at Indiana on December 6. The Lady Lions return home on December 9 to host Rutgers in the Bryce Jordan Center. After 21-day break in conference play, the Lady Lions host Iowa on December 30.
After the turn of the new year, the Nittany Lions travel to Ohio State (Jan. 3) and Maryland (Jan. 6). Additional road games during the month of January include Northwestern (Jan. 20) and Wisconsin (Jan. 23). Penn State will host four game during the month of January with Michigan (Jan. 13), Illinois (Jan. 16), Michigan State (Jan. 27) and Maryland (Jan. 30) all visiting the Bryce Jordan Center.
The Lady Lions begin February on the road, traveling to Nebraska on February 3 before returning to Happy Valley to play Northwestern on February 6. Penn State travels to Purdue (Feb. 9) and Rutgers (Feb. 13) for its next two matchups. The Lady Lions round of the conference schedule at home against Nebraska on February 17, travel to Michigan State on February 21 and complete the conference schedule at home against Minnesota (Feb. 27).
The 29th Big Ten WBB Tournament will be held Wednesday, March 2, 2022 through Sunday, March 6, 2022 at Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.
Start times and network designations will be announced in the coming weeks.
Season ticket renewals are now available for the 2021-22 women's basketball season. Fans will have until Tuesday, October 5 to renew their season tickets for the upcoming season and renewals can be processed through the Penn State Athletics Account Manager, linked here.
Available season tickets range in price from $260 (court side) to $120 (sideline) and $95 (baseline). The Recent Graduate program features two options, an $84 sideline package and $65 baseline option.
