Delavallade Finishes T5th, Women's Golf Fourth at BC Intercollegiate

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Junior Mathilde Delavallade (Royan, France) finished just five-strokes off the lead and in a tie for fifth at the Boston College Intercollegiate. Delavallade used a 2-under, 70, to climb 11 spots in the final round on Tuesday afternoon.

"My drives were better today and that set me up with a comfortable yardage for my approach shots," commented Delavallade. "My putting was also pretty solid, and I was able to make some Birdies."

Delavallade had six birdies to her name in the final round, doubling her total from the previous two rounds combined finishing the tournament 5-over, 221. The junior collects her second top-five finish of the season in the first three tournaments and fifth of her career.
