Dhurva Tied for 7th, Women's Golf Tied for 4th After Opening Day in Beantown

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Junior Isha Dhruva (Katy, Texas) climbed 13 spots between the first and second rounds of the Boston College Intercollegiate on Monday and currently sits tied for seventh at 3-over following an even-par, 72, during the second round.

"My short game was really strong today," commented Dhruva. "I also stayed focused on the hole in front of me which helped me get through this 36-hole day."

As a team, the Nittany Lions are currently tied for fourth with Columbia at 25-over in the 15-team field. Yale leads after the opening 36 holes at 9-over currently 12-strokes clear of Boston College and Boston University tied for second at 21-over.

Senior Sarah Willis (Eaton, Ohio) carded rounds of 73 and 76 and currently sits tied for 11th at 5-over par for the tournament while junior Mathilde Delavallade (Royan, France) is tied for 16th at 7-over.
 
Freshman Drew Nienhaus (St. Louis, Mo.) fired rounds of 75 and 78 and is tied for 26th at 9-over while sophomore Victoria Tip-Aucha (Vienna, Va.) rounded out the team scoring with rounds of 79 and 80.
 
Playing as an individual, sophomore Maria Arizaga (Samborondon, Ecuador) opened the day with a 4-over, 76, and is currently tied for 38th entering the final round.
