ROSEMONT, Ill. – The Penn State men's ice hockey team will be featured on national television at least three times during the 2021-22 regular season with an additional four games broadcast on regional networks as the Nittany Lions, in conjunction with the Big Ten, announced TV information and puck drop times for the majority of its regular season contests on Thursday afternoon.
Penn State's Big Ten home-opener against No. 3 Michigan on Thursday, November 11 will air live on the B1G Network with an 8:30 p.m. puck drop. The Nittany Lions' final home series of the year against No. 4 Minnesota on February 18-19 will feature 6:30 p.m. and 6 p.m. puck drops, respectively, with each game being broadcast on the B1G Network.
On the road, the Nittany Lions will be featured on regional television networks four times this season during their trips to Minneapolis and Madison with streaming services available on B1G+. Penn State and Minnesota will play a pair of games on Bally Sports North on November 19-20 at 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. while PSU's contests against the Badgers on December 10-11 will air on Bally Sports Wisconsin with puck drops slated for 7 p.m. and 8 p.m., respectively.
Every televised game on the Big Ten Network can be streamed nation-wide via the web, smartphones, tablets and connected devices on the FOX Sports app. B1G+ will stream all the games broadcast on the Bally Sports Regional Networks, in addition to all other non-televised games played in Big Ten arenas.
