CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The #14 Nittany Lions women's soccer program travels to #3 Virginia for the third-straight ranked matchup. Penn State and Virginia are tied at 7-7-1 in their series history.

Sam Coffey scored the lone goal in the loss for the Nittany Lions. In the 50th minute, the game entered a weather delay that lasted two hours and twenty-two minutes.

Sam Coffey currenlty leads the NCAA with 48 assists in her career. Coffey is just four assists from moving into a tie for 25th place all-time in women's soccer history.

Coffey is also just four goals from becoming the 50th player to score 40 goals and have 40 assists in NCAA Divison I history.
