ALL-TIME SERIES
Penn State and Brown face each other for the first time ever this weekend. It's the second time the Nittany Lions face an opponent for the first time in the 2021-22 season (Boston College).

Penn State's matchup with the Bears is its second series of the season against an ECAC opponent after facing off with St. Lawrence Sept. 23-24. The Nittany Lions will also play Cornell twice later in the slate.

BY THE NUMBERS
11 - Penn State scored 11 goals in their last series against Holy Cross, its highest goal total in a two-game series since scoring 14 against Chatham Jan. 4-5, 2013 (PSU's inaugural season).

11 - Sophomore forward Kiara Zanon (Fairport, N.Y.) had two multipoint games last time out, giving her 11 multipoint games in her Penn State career through just 27 career games.

3 - Senior forward Natalie Heising (Wayzata, Minn.) became the third Nittany Lion to break the 100-career point milestone back on Oct. 9. She is also three points away from breaking Laura Bowman's program record of 104 career points.

2 - Penn State has not allowed more than two goals in any game this season. Sophomore goaltender Josie Bothun (Wyoming, Minn.) has sported a 1.75 GAA with a .911 save percentage.

POINTS IN BUNCHES
The Nittany Lions had eight total student-athletes notch multipoint games last weekend. Alyssa Machado (Mississauga, Ontario) scored 1G, 1A for her first career multipoint effort in the Oct. 8 win. Her linemates Amy Dobson (Hamilton, Ontario) and Rachel Weiss (Calgary, Alberta) also chipped in two points each in the same game.

Heising's 2-goal game Oct. 9 was her 10th game with multiple goals scored, which is now the most in program history.
