- With two touchdowns in the game, Sean Clifford and Jahan Dotson have connected on 18 career touchdown passes, passing Todd Blackledge and Kenny Jackson (1980-82) for the most by a Penn State QB-WR duo in program history.
- WR Jahan Dotson completed a 21-yard pass to Parker Washington in the fourth quarter. Dotson has completed 2-of-2 passing attempts this season. The other was a 22-yard pass to Tyler Warren against Auburn.
- Dating back to the second half at Wisconsin, Penn State has scored in 18 consecutive quarters.
Sean Clifford
- QB Sean Clifford connected on touchdown passes to Brenton Strange (10 yards) and Jahan Dotson (8 yards, 30 yards).
- Clifford reached the 6,000-career passing yard mark. He became the fifth Penn State quarterback to reach 6,000 passing yards, finishing the night with 6,068 passing yards.
- With two touchdown passes in the first half, Clifford earned his 14th career multi-touchdown half.
- Clifford's 17 completions give him 449 for his career, moving him into sixth place in the Penn State annals. Clifford passed Daryll Clark (2006-09) who had 444 career completions.
- Clifford has thrown at least one touchdown pass in eight-straight games.
Jahan Dotson
- WR Jahan Dotson caught an 8-yard touchdown pass in the second quarter and a 30-yard touchdown reception in the third quarter.
- Dotson registered his fourth career multi-touchdown reception game.
- Dotson has a touchdown reception in six-straight games dating back to last season. It's the longest receiving touchdown streak by a Penn State player in school history.
- He has a touchdown in seven-straight games, including an 81-yard punt return vs Michigan State in 2020.
- Dotson now has 19 career receiving touchdowns. On the day, he passed Allen Robinson (17; 2011-13), Derek Moye (18; 2008-11), Chris Godwin (18; 2014-16) and DaeSean Hamilton (18; 2014-17). Dotson sits in sole possession of fourth all-time at Penn State.
- On his 30-yard touchdown reception in the third quarter, Dotson reached the 2,000-career receiving yard mark. He is the 10th Nittany Lion to earn 2,000 career receiving yards. Dotson finished the night with 84 receiving yards, boosting his career total to 2,021 receiving yards.
- Dotson's 2,021 receiving yards move him into seventh place all-time at Penn State. He passed four other Nittany Lions, including OJ McDuffie (1,988 yards, 1988-92); Kenny Jackson (2,006 yards, 1980-83); Bryant Johnson (2,008 yards, 1999-02); and Jordan Norwood (2,015 yards, 2005-08).
- Dotson's eight catches give him 127 career receptions, good for 10th at Penn State. He surpassed OJ McDuffie (125, 1988-92).
- Dotson has caught at least one pass in 34-straight games, dating back to Indiana game (10/20/18).
- Dotson has at least five catches in seven-straight games, dating back to the Michigan State game in 2020.
- He has at least one 20-yard reception in eight-straight games, dating back to the Rutgers game in 2020.
Parker Washington
- WR Parker Washington has caught a pass in all 14 games of his career.
Brenton Strange
- TE Brenton Strange hauled in a 10-yard touchdown from Sean Clifford. It was Strange's fifth career touchdown reception.
Keyvone Lee
- RB Keyvone Lee had a career-long 44-yard run in the first quarter. His previous long was 31 yards, done twice, with the last coming against Rutgers in 2020.
- The 44-yard run is Penn State's longest of the season.
- Lee finished with 74 yards on eight carries (9.2 average).
DEFENSE
Team
- With a stop on fourth-and-goal in the first quarter and a blocked field goal in the third quarter, the Nittany Lions have held their opponent without a score for seven times in 15 red-zone possessions.
- Since 2014, Penn State has held opponents to seven or less points 22 times, fourth-most among FBS teams. Sixteen of those 22 games have been against Big Ten opponents.
- Penn State held Indiana to just 69 yards on the ground, 66.5 yards below their season average of 135.5 rushing yards per game.
- The Nittany Lions defense also held the Hoosiers to 264 yards of total offense, 99.5 yards below their season average of 363.5 yards per game.
Brandon Smith

- Smith matched his career high with one sack. He previously had a sack on different occasions, the last vs. Maryland in 2020.
- Smith also tied a career high with one pass breakup. He had broken up a pass on two occasions prior, last vs. Auburn earlier this season.
Joey Porter Jr.
- CB Joey Porter Jr. intercepted a pass in the second quarter. It was his first career interception.
Arnold Ebiketie
- DE Arnold Ebiketie recorded a solo sack in the third quarter. He tied his career high of a full sack, accomplished in seven previous games with the last time coming against Villanova.
Ji'Ayir Brown
- S Ji'Ayir Brown intercepted a pass in the fourth quarter. It was his third interception of the season and his career.
- Brown became the first Penn State player with at least three interceptions in a season since 2018 (Garrett Taylor 3, Amani Oruwariye 3, Nick Scott 3).
SPECIAL TEAMS
Team
- The Nittany Lions blocked a 30-yard field goal attempt in the third quarter. It was Penn State's second blocked field goal of the season. It marks the first time Penn State has blocked two or more field goals in a season since 2004 (five blocked field goals).
- The 50-yard field goal by Jordan Stout tonight marked the first field goal of 50+ yards by the Nittany Lions since Stout booted a 50-yard attempt vs. Ohio State in 2020.
Jordan Stout
- K/P Jordan Stout hit a 50-yard field goal in the fourth quarter. It marked his fourth career 50-plus yard field goal. Stout sits in sole possession of second place all-time at Penn State in 50+ yard field goals behind only Chris Bahr (6; 1973-75).
- Stout's two punts of 50+ yards tonight give him 16 career punts of 50+ yards.
- Stout dropped four punts inside of the 20-yard line today, giving him 22 career punts inside the 20.
- Stout had four touchbacks on five kickoffs, giving him 28 touchbacks on 30 kickoffs this season. Stout has yet to have a kickoff returned this season, as one of the two non-touchbacks went out-of-bounds and the other was fair caught this evening.
Brandon Smith
- LB Brandon Smith blocked an Indiana 30-yard field goal attempt in the third quarter. It was Penn State's second blocked field goal of the season, joining Arnold Ebiketie's field goal block against Wisconsin.
