PARKING
All Penn State Athletics non-football events will require a valid permit or payment of the applicable parking fee for campus lots. Complimentary parking will no longer be issued for season ticket holders.
Fans with valid Penn State University Park parking permits will be permitted to park at non-football athletics events for free, following Transportation Services parking policies and access.
Fans without a permit are encouraged to prepay for event parking at a discounted rate through ParkMobile - https://psu.parkmobile.io/. Prepayment is available through 11:59 p.m. the day prior to each event. Season packages will be available for general parking for most sports, and information on VIP parking options available for select events will be released later.

THE MATCHUP
The Nittany Lions and Lions have battled each other every season since Penn State's first season as a varsity program in 2012-13. Penn State holds a 22-11-6 edge in the all-time series, including 14 games in a row unbeaten (11-0-3).
PSU was 3-0-1 against the Lions in 2020-21, including a sweep on home ice to begin the COVID-19-shortened season. Carrie Byrnes scored PSU's first goal of the campaign in the Nov. 29 shutout win and Natalie Heising scored twice while Josie Bothun picked up the shutout in her first career start.
In PSU's 4-1 win Nov. 30, Kiara Zanon scored her first career goal and Lyndie Lobdell added a pair of assists in the victory. Heising also scored another goal in the win. Through 17 career games against Lindenwood, Heising has 11 goals and 5 assists.
LAST TIME OUT: AT MERCYHURST
Penn State began conference play Oct. 29-30 by earning a road split against Mercyhurst. The Nittany Lions rally came up short in a 4-3 loss on Friday, but they followed up with a dominant 3-0 shutout victory in game two Saturday and improved to 4-4-2 overall for the season.
Penn State received goals from Julie Gough and Natalie Heising in game one's 2-2 tie last Saturday. Josie Bothun stopped 26 shots in the overtime battle.
In the second game, Penn State rattled off three unanswered goals in the second and third periods to speed away with a 5-2 victory. Both Gough and Heising scored again, along with Kiara Zanon, Alyssa Machado, and Rachel Weiss' empty net goal.
RECOGNIZED BY THE LEAGUE
A pair of Penn State women's hockey student-athletes were recognized by the CHA for their performances both last week and during the first month of the season. Sophomore Josie Bothun was named the CHA Goaltender of the Week and Goaltender of the Month for Sept./Oct. and junior Julie Gough was tabbed the CHA Forward of the Week for last week's series at Mercyhurst.
Bothun has had a good start to the 2021-22 season with a CHA-best 1.85 goals-against average in a conference-most 10 starts. She also earned her first shutout of the season in last Saturday's 3-0 win at Mercyhurst.
Gough continued a hot streak with two more goals at Mercyhurst to extend her goal-scoring streak to five-straight games. She has eight points in the stretch (5G, 3A) and 14 goals in her last 20 games dating back to the 2020-21 season.
