RICHMOND, Va. – The Penn State men's and women's swimming and diving teams have been selected by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) as a Scholar All-America Team. 728 teams from 450 colleges and universities earned this honor.
Greg Earhart, CSCAA Executive Director highlighted Penn State's achievements noting, "Coach Murphy has Penn State achieving at a really high level - in and out of the pool. These 75 men and women are some of the best ambassadors that Penn State and the B1G Conference could ask for."
Penn State Head Coach, Tim Murphy, said, "We are very proud of our student athletes' continued commitment to academic excellence. I congratulate them for once again being recognized for their academic achievements by CSCAA."
Founded in 1922, the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA), is the nation's first organization of college coaches. The mission of the CSCAA is to advance the sport of swimming and diving with coaches at the epicenter of leadership, advocacy, and professional development.
