ROSEMONT, Ill. – Junior Kevin Wall (Penfield, N.Y.) was named an All-B1G honorable mention selection as announced by the conference office earlier Tuesday afternoon following his career-best 2021-22 season.
With his first career all-conference nod, Wall becomes the 31st overall all-conference selection for Penn State dating back to the inaugural Big Ten season in 2013-14.
Wall skated in all 38 games this season setting career marks in each offensive category including a team-best 16 goals and 29 points. His 16 goals tied for the ninth-most in a single-season in Penn State history while ranking tied for fifth in the Big Ten and 26th nationally while his 29 points were tied for the ninth-most in the conference.
Wall led the team with seven multi-point games this season including his first career hat-trick and the 10th in program history against Niagara back in October.
Along with the All-Conference teams being announced, senior Adam Pilewicz (Sewickley, Pa.) was named Penn State's Sportsmanship Award honoree. After skating in just 31 games over his first four seasons in Hockey Valley, Pilewicz got the most out of his extra year of eligibility by appearing in all 38 games and setting career-highs in each offensive category with three goals and four assists for seven points while ranking third on the team with 50 blocked shots.
