Penn State Opens Big Ten Play at Ohio State

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – The Penn State women's lacrosse team is set to open Big Ten action on Saturday as it visits Ohio State. First draw is slated for 2:30 p.m. with a televised broadcast on Big Ten Network.

SERIES HISTORY
• Penn State leads 21-8 in the all-time series but has lost the last two matchups.
• The teams first played at University Park in 1997 with PSU winning 14-3. The Nittany Lions would win the first four games.

• PSU is fifth in the nation and first in the Big Ten in clearing percentage (.930).

• Kara Nealon is 14th in the nation and third in the league by averaging 2.25 assists per contest.

SCOUTING THE BUCKEYES
• OSU is 6-4 and opened Big Ten play with a 22-14 loss to No. 5 Northwestern.
• Jamie Lasda leads the Buckeyes with 28 goals and seven assists for 35 points.

• Chloe Johnson leads with 84 draw controls.
