Penn State Softball’s May 8 Contest Against Illinois to Be Broadcast on the Big Ten Network

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa.- Penn State softball's contest against Illinois on May 8 has been selected to be broadcasted on the Big Ten Network. The game will start at 2:30 p.m. (EST) / 1:30 p.m. (CST).

The game was originally set to start at noon and be broadcasted on B1G+. It will be the final regular season game for both teams before the start of the Big Ten Tournament on May 11.

This will be the second time the Nittany Lions will be televised this season, with the other coming on the ACC Network in a 6-0 win over Pitt on March 16. Penn State's doubleheader against Ohio State was set to be shown on the Big Ten Network but was moved to B1G+ after multiple postponements.

The Nittany Lions (28-18, 10-7 Big Ten) have one more home series this weekend against Wisconsin before the trip to Illinois next weekend. Game one of the Wisconsin series is set for Friday evening at 6 p.m. That game will be streamed on B1G+ ($).
