ROSEMONT, Ill. – Penn State women's basketball has learned its opponents for 18 Big Ten games in the upcoming 2022-23 season, the conference announced Thursday.
The Lady Lions face five schools at both Bryce Jordan Center and on the road: Iowa, Michigan State, Minnesota, Purdue and Rutgers. Matchups with Indiana, Northwestern, Ohio State and Wisconsin only come in University Park. Penn State also travels to Illinois, Maryland, Michigan and Nebraska.
All league teams play the four teams on the road they did not travel to last year (per the original 2021-22 schedule, exclusive of any cancelled games due to COVID-19 or weather). No team plays "away" games at all three most western (Nebraska, Minnesota and Iowa) and all three most eastern schools (Rutgers, Maryland and Penn State).
Dates, times and television selections for all 18 league contests are to be announced later.
