ROSEMONT, Ill. – The Penn State men's ice hockey team will be featured on national television at least five times during the 2022-23 regular season with an additional four games broadcast on regional networks as the Nittany Lions, in conjunction with the Big Ten, announced TV information and puck drop times for the majority of its regular season contests on Friday afternoon.
Penn State's Big Ten home-opener against No. 6 Michigan on Friday, November 4 will air live on the B1G Network with an 8 p.m. puck drop. The Nittany Lions will then have three road contests during the second half of the season televised as games at Michigan State (January 14), Michigan (January 28) and Ohio State (February 4) will air live on the B1G Network with puck drops set for 7 p.m., 7 p.m. and 6:30 p.m., respectively.
Penn State's final televised contest of the regular season will be against Minnesota at Pegula Ice Arena on Friday, February 17 with a 6:30 p.m. puck drop.
On the road, the Nittany Lions will be featured on regional television networks three times this season during their trips to Minneapolis and Madison with streaming services available on B1G+. Penn State and Minnesota will play a pair of games on Bally Sports North on November 10-11 at 8 p.m. ET while PSU's contests against the Badgers on October 28-29 will air on Bally Sports Wisconsin Extra with puck drops slated for 8 p.m. ET each night.
Every televised game on the Big Ten Network can be streamed nation-wide via the web, smartphones, tablets and connected devices on the FOX Sports app. B1G+ will stream all the games broadcast on the Bally Sports Regional Networks, in addition to all other non-televised games played in Big Ten arenas.
