UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - The No. 12/11 ranked Penn State women's ice hockey team returns home to Pegula Ice Arena to begin a two-game series with Lindenwood starting Friday, January 27 at 6 p.m. Friday's contest will be dedicated to Morgan's Message for mental health. The following day, Penn State will recognize the 2023 senior class.

- This will be the 44th meeting between the two teams as the Nittany Lions lead the series 26-11-6 with Penn State taking the last game on October 29, 2022, 7-0.
HOLDING STRONG A TOP THE CHA STANDINGS
- Following the two-game sweep of Mercyhurst, the Nittany Lions have pulled seven points ahead of Mercyhurst and Syracuse with 17. Penn State currently holds a CHA record of 8-1-1.
BOTHUN CAPTURES 50TH CAREER WIN
- Junior goalie Josie Bothun captured her 50th career victory in net as a Nittany Lion in Penn State's 5-2 victory over Mercyhurst on Sunday.
- Bothun now holds the program record for most wins as a goalie in program history.
- On the season, Bothun has captured 17 wins with a GAA of 2.04 and save percentage of .916.
SUCCESS IN THE CLASSROOM
- The grades are in and the Penn State women's hockey team tallied a 3.44 Fall semester GPA.
- Two Nittany Lions Annie Spring and Mallory Uihlein each posted a 4.0 GPA for the fall semester.
JANECKE WITH THE GAME WINNER
- Freshman Tessa Janecke currently leads the Nittany Lions in game-winning goals this season with four.
- Janecke led the Penn State comeback in game two against Mercyhurst as she scored back-to-back goals to send the game into overtime and to win the game in the overtime period.
- The Orangeville, Ill. currently sits second on the team in points with 33 off 17 goals and 16 assists.
HEMINGER HITS 150
- Senior Izzy Heminger played in her 150th career game as a Nittany following the teams 3-2 OT victory over Mercyhurst.
- She currently sits second among Nittany Lions in program history in that category. Behind teammate Rene Gangarosa who tallies 154 games played so far.
- On the season, Heminger has three goals and a season high 15 assists for a season high 18 points.
SITTING ON TOP OF THE POLLS
- Penn State has been ranked in the top 15 in the USA Today/USA Hockey national polls for 18 of the 19 weeks this year.
- The Nittany Lions stayed in the #12 slot in the USCHO poll.

- Parking for Penn State Women's Ice Hockey games at Pegula Ice Arena will be available at the following locations beginning two hours prior to the start of each game:
- No charge with a valid Penn State parking pass
- $5.50 prepaid through ParkMobile (season package available for $5 per game): ParkMobile Link
- $10 day-of-event without a valid permit or prepayment (pay station or ParkMobile app – zone no. 95112)
- ParkMobile prepayment availability ends at 11:59 p.m. the night before each event. Events will not be selectable on the site after that time, and payment must then be made on site upon arrival to event parking staff (cash only).
- For Friday's game, there will be no day-of-event parking sales at Stadium West, Jordan East and Porter North. ParkMobile prepayment or a valid Penn State permit will be required to park at these lots. Day-of-event parking sales in these lots will only be available to fans with a state-issued ADA placard or license plate. Additionally, fans who purchase a pre-paid pass for Stadium West or Jordan East can park in the Shields Lot outside of Pegula Ice Arena.

ADA parking will be available at the following locations:
- Shields Lot
- Stadium West – southwest corner near the University Drive/Curtin Road intersection.
- Jordan East – small section across from the Penn State All-Sports Museum and the northernmost row along Curtin Road between Beaver Stadium gates A and B.
- A state-issued ADA placard or license plate is required, along with a valid Penn State permit, ParkMobile prepayment, or day-of-event cash payment. Fans who wish to use ADA parking at the Shields Lot must prepay through ParkMobile for Stadium West, Jordan East, East Deck, or Eisenhower Deck or have a valid Penn State permit. Day-of-event sales will not be available at the Shields Lot. Fans with a state-issued ADA placard or license plate who prepay for parking at the East or Eisenhower decks may also park at Stadium West or Jordan East.
