UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa.- Kristin O'Neill and Sammy Dupcak are named ILWomen Midseason All-American Honorable Mention. O'Neill receives this nod for the second consecutive year and Dupcak earns her first All-American honorable mention distinction.
Junior captain O'Neill is off to a tremendous start in her 2023 season. She has continued a 16-game scoring streak, to record at least one goal in every game this season including 10 multi-goal games and seven hat tricks. The Maryland native is fourth in the Big Ten in goals and 14th nationally with 36 goals.
O'Neill was named to the Tewaaraton Award Watch List prior to the start of the 2023 campaign and was also selected as a Big Ten Player to Watch.
Dupcak has been a key component to the Nittany Lions defense this season. So far, she has posted 21 caused turnover, 32 ground balls and 20 draw controls. Dupcak ranks second in the conference in ground balls and 14th nationally. She is also third in the Big Ten in caused turnovers and 15th in the country.
Dupcak joined O'Neill on the Big Ten Player to Watch List in the preseason.
