Fracyon Named Big Ten Specialist of the Week

CHICAGO, Ill. - Penn State men's lacrosse sophomore Jack Fracyon was named Big Ten Specialist of the Week for his play against Rutgers on Friday. This is the first weekly award the Annapolis, Md. native has captured this season.
 
Fracyon recorded 17 saves and allowed a career single game low five goals against 11th-ranked Rutgers on Friday which aided in the Nittany Lions 14-5 victory over the Scarlet Knights. He also scooped two ground balls in the win as well. The win secured the Nittany Lions second Big Ten Regular Season championship in program history. 
 
On the year, Fracyon stands with a 9-3 overall record, 10.03 GAA and save percentage of .582.
 
Fracyon and the rest of the Nittany Lions return to action on Thursday, May 4 when they travel to Baltimore, Md. to face the winner of Michigan and Ohio State to play in the Big Ten semifinals at 1 p.m.
