UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – Penn State baseball graduate student catcher Thomas Bramley and senior pitcher Ryan Partridge were named College Sports Communicators Academic All-District on Tuesday.
Bramley owns a 3.67 GPA while pursuing his business management foundations graduate certificate. The Elizabethtown, Pa. native graduated from Mount St. Mary's with a 3.70 GPA while earning his bachelor's degree in business.
On the field, Bramley is batting .315 with 53 hits, 32 RBI and 37 runs. He has collected nine doubles, a triple and four homers. The graduate student has recorded 17 multi-hit games and six multi-RBI games.
Bramley has 39 walks this season, tied third in a season at Penn State. He's eight walks shy of the season record held by Eric Spadt (47, 2000).
In Big Ten play, Bramley owns 22 hits, 16 RBI and 15 runs while collecting four doubles and two homers.
Partridge has a 3.65 GPA in kinesiology.
The Wexford, Pa. native has made 17 appearances this season with a 1-0 record. In 23.2 innings, Partridge has recorded 27 strikeouts.
