UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – The Penn State men's and women's fencing teams will send 12 fencers to compete at the October North American Cup (NAC). This month's NAC will take place in Orlando, Fla. at the Orange County Convention Center and will span from Oct. 26-29. This tournament is the first NAC/Olympic qualifying tournament of the fall season.
Spencer Burke, Donavyn Martinez, Yaroslav Muruhin, Nico Pope and Aidan Johnson are set to beign competing in men's foil beginning Thursday. Ola Strzalkowski and Aurora Colter will also start Thursday in women's saber.
On Friday, Noah Beitel and Neil Lilov will compete in men's saber with Zachary Suico, Nicholas Glaz, Peter Kambeseles and Devin Tafoya in men's epee.
