Wall & MacEachern Named All-B1G Honorable Mention

ROSEMONT, Ill. – Senior classmates Kevin Wall (Penfield, N.Y.) and Connor MacEachern were each named an All-B1G honorable mention selection as announced by the conference office earlier Tuesday afternoon.

Entering the NCAA Tournament next weekend, Wall has identical numbers from a season ago when he earned his first all-conference recognition as he has once again paced the Nittany Lion offense in 2022-23. The Penfield, N.Y. native has tied each of his career highs set last season with 16 goals and 13 assists for 29 points in 37 games.

Wall's 16 goals are tied for the sixth most in the Big Ten and are tied for the ninth most in a single-season in Penn State history. In his career, Wall has now lit the lamp 42 times good for ninth all-time at Penn State while his 84 career points rank tenth.

MacEachern gets the first postseason recognition of his career after also being named an honorable mention prior to the start of the season. The senior is tied for second on the team with 11 goals while ranking third with 24 points.

MacEachern is also 58 percent this season on draws, a mark good for third in the Big Ten and 17th in the nation among true centermen.

Senior captain Paul DeNaples (Moscow, Pa.) was named Penn State's 2022-23 Big Ten Sportsmanship Award recipient.

The Nittany Lions will continue their season next Friday, March 24, when they participate in their third NCAA Tournament at the PPL Center in Allentown, Pennsylvania. Penn State will find out the time and opponent for this matchup when the selection show airs Sunday night at 6:30 p.m. on ESPNU.
