Women’s Tennis Hits the Road for Three Matches in California

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – The Penn State women's tennis team will play three matches away this week. The team will play Long Beach State on Wednesday at 2 p.m., LMU on Friday at 1 p.m. and UCSB on Saturday at 11 a.m.

LAST TIME OUT
 
The Nittany Lions fell at home to Princeton, 4-2. The team gained two points in singles wins from Sofiya Chekhlystova and Olivia Dorner at No. 1 and 2, respectively. 
 
LOOKING AT LONG BEACH STATE
 
The Long Beach State women's tennis team is 4-4 on the season. The team has gained victories over Fresno Pacific, UC Riverside, UC San Diego and Hawaii Pacific. 
 
The Beach lost their last match against Hawaii, 4-3. 
 
SCOUTING LMU
 
The LMU women's tennis team is 2-6 this season thus far. The team has wins over Long Beach State and the University of the Pacific. 
 
The Lions' last match was a 2-5 loss against UCSB.
 
UNCOVERING UCSB
 
The USCB women's tennis team is 4-6 on the season. The team has grabbed wins over San Francisco, UC Davis, Kansas and Loyola Marymount.
 
The Gauchos fell in their last match versus No. 8 USC, 6-1.
