UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – The Penn State men's and women's fencing teams move onto the post season as they travel to Drew University on Saturday, March 9 for NCAA Mid-Atlantic/South Regionals. Here, they will face fencers from Princeton, Johns Hopkins, Penn, Duke, North Carolina, Drew, Steven's (M), Temple (W), NJIT, Haverford and Lafayette.
Penn State fencers have qualified to compete under each respective gender and weapon.
Men's epee will have Devin Tafoya, Mitchel Bekker, Tingwei Xu, Zachary Suico and Nicholas Glaz with Kateryna Chorniy, Axelle Wasiak and Jaclyn Khrol to compete for the women.
Arwen Borowiak, Aidan Johnson, TitNam Cheng and Spencer Burke will fence men's foil with Samantha Catantan, Arianna Proietti, Ariel Ratsep, Eden De La Cruz and Thea Fernandes on the women's side.
Men's sabre will consist of Neil Lilov, Kamar Skeete and Nico Pope with Ola Strzalkowski, Mia Novick, Aurora Colter and Eunyu Kim competing in women's sabre.
