Men's Tennis Ready to Compete at ITA Regionals

Four Nittany Lions will travel to Philadelphia, Pa.

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa.- The Penn State men’s tennis team is geared up to play at the ITA Northeast Regional hosted by Penn in Philadelphia, Pa. The tournament is set to begin on Thursday Oct. 17 and run through Monday Oct. 21. 

Seniors Sam Bossem, Loren Byers and Charl Morgan along with freshman David Lindsay, will represent the Blue and White this weekend at the tournament. The squad will compete in both singles and doubles events against universities in the Northeast region. 

Byers and Lindsay are set to pair up in doubles and will face Oscar Brian and Adamantios Stavrakas of Bucknell in the first round. Bossem and Morgan are prepped to play as a duo against Leon Eddie Schmidt and Pablo Rodriguez of Wagner College. In the singles bracket, Lindsay looks to face Alan Gonzalez from Saint Francis.
