ESTERO, Fla. – The Penn State men’s golf team heads down to Florida for its penultimate tournament of the fall season Sunday and Monday when the Nittany Lions compete in The Island at West Bay Club Collegiate Invitational.
The 54-hole event is scheduled to begin with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. Sunday, while Monday’s third and final round is slated for a 9 a.m. start.
The tournament field features Penn State, host FGCU, Coastal Carolina, Eastern Michigan, Elon, Florida Atlantic, Jacksonville, Liberty, Lipscomb, Maryland, Middle Tennessee, Oral Roberts, Stetson and USF.
The Penn State team lineup will feature Alex Creamean, Jake Griffin, Andres Barraza, Robby O’Regan and Morgan Lofland, while Zach Smith will play as an individual. Creamean, Griffin and Lofland have been Penn State’s top finishers in the Nittany Lions’ three fall tournaments thus far.
