Track & Field Performs Well at Penn 10 Elite

Nittany Lions set three top-five program marks in Penn’s new facility

PHILADELPHIA – The Penn State track & field team achieved three top-five program marks and set three facility records in a successful outing at the Penn 10 Elite meet inside Penn’s new Ott Center for Track & Field.

IN THE RECORD BOOKS

Freshman Ajani Dwyer made his 200m debut for the Nittany Lions, running a 20.65, the third-fastest time in school history. Through three collegiate meets, the New Jersey native owns top-three program marks in both the 60m and 200m dash events. His mark, based on times entering competition on Saturday, would have ranked third in the NCAA.

Lizzie Schreiber earned the win in the triple jump with the fifth-best mark in school history. Her 41-10.5 (12.76m) jump is Penn State’s best mark in the event since 2017.

In his first indoor 3K, redshirt freshman Nick Sloff threw down a 7:59.33 PR to set the fifth-fastest time in school history. His mark is the fastest run by a Nittany Lion since Robby Creese set the school record in the event ten years ago.
