UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — No. 25 Penn State women’s gymnastics will face off against No. 22 Ohio State on Saturday, Feb. 22 at 2 p.m. Penn State will celebrate its Seniors with a ceremony presented by the Penn State Alumni Association.
PROMOTIONS – SENIOR DAY
- Penn State is thrilled to welcome fans to a celebration of its seniors immediately following the conclusion Saturday afternoon meet.
- Free mini-posters featuring Penn State gymnastics seniors will be available for fans while supplies last.
- Additional activities include a gymnastics zone.
- Penn State’s Senior Day ceremony is presented by the Penn State Alumni Association.

LAST TIME OUT
The Nittany Lions look to move back into the win column in another top-25 matchup after a 197.675-195.450 defeat to No. 5 UCLA last weekend in Los Angeles.
Kalea McElligott completed her fourth all-around of the season to earn a season-high 39.275 total in a tough road environment. McElligott earned a pair of 9.875 marks in the third and fourth rotations to finish a strong performance from Penn State on the road.
VAULT – No. 28
Penn State earned a 48.850 team score on vault for its second rotation of the night. Maddie Johnston led the way for the Nittany Lions on the apparatus with a score of 9.85, earning a share of the event title. Elizabeth Leary recorded a 9.825, as both top scorers for Penn State matched their season highs.
BARS – No. 25
The Nittany Lions scored 48.825 total points in the first rotation against UCLA. Gabbie Gallentine was Penn State’s top scorer on bars with a 9.875 tally. Johnston earned her first 9.85 mark of the night and Dani Latronica recorded another 9.8 on the season.
BEAM – No. 22
During the last rotation of the night, Penn State earned a 48.950, its best team score of the meet. McElligott earned her second 9.875 score of the night while Latronica earned another 9.8 to close out the cross-country dual.
FLOOR – No. 26
On floor, Penn State posted a team score of 48.825, also led by a 9.875 mark from McElligott. Ashley Maul and Elina Vihrova earned a pair of 9.775s to round out the top three scorers for the Nittany Lions.
