MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – The Penn State baseball team visits Minnesota for a three-game series on April 4-6 at Siebert Field. The series begins on Friday at 5 p.m. and continues on Saturday at 4 p.m. Sunday’s series finale is set for 2 p.m. All games will be broadcast on B1G+.
Friday's game time was moved up to 5 p.m. from the previously scheduled 7 p.m.
Penn State, led by head coach Mike Gambino, is 18-10 this season (6-6 Big Ten) after a 14-3, run-rule victory over Bucknell. Bryce Molinaro launched two homers.
Minnesota, coached by Ty McDevitt, is 11-14 overall (2-7 Big Ten) after falling in three games against Iowa last weekend.

- With its win in game one against Indiana on March 7, the Nittany Lions had a nine-game win streak for the first time since 2000.

- Through 28 games, Penn State has slugged 47 home runs.
- The Nittany Lions rank 21st in the country, averaging 1.68 homers per game.
- Penn State also ranks 21st in the nation in total home runs and 27th in runs per game (9.0).
- Paxton Kling leads the Nittany Lions with 11 homers, while sitting 23rd in the country in total homers (6th in Big Ten) and 31st in home runs per game (0.39; 7th).
- Kling is among nine Nittany Lions with at least one home run this season and is one of eight with multiple homers.

- Penn State earned a 12-5 win on Friday at Michigan, but dropped a pair of one-run games on Saturday (8-7) and Sunday (6-5).
- On Friday, Bryce Molinaro, Cole Wagner and Ryan Weingartner all homered to help the Nittany Lions.
- Wagner had three hits, including a double, and scored three times, while Weingartner added a two-run double.
- In the series, Wagner went 6-of-12 (.500) at the plate with two doubles, a triple and a homer to go with five RBI and four runs.
- Jack Porter added four hits, including two doubles, and four RBI.
- On the mound, Dimond Loosli threw 3.2 shutout frames over two appearances.
- Anthony Steele fired three scoreless innings and struck out five on Saturday.
- Matthew VanOstenbridge added 2.1 shutout innings over two appearances.
