Women’s Tennis Unveils 2025 Fall Campaign

The Nittany Lions will travel to six tournaments before concluding with the NCAA Singles and Doubles Championships

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - The Penn State women's tennis program announced its 2025 Fall schedule on Wednesday. The slate features seven tournaments across six states.  

Head Coach Alexandra McIntyre enters her seventh season leading the program in 2025-26 following her winningest season at the helm a season ago. The team’s 14 wins were the most since the 2012-13 season. 

WTEN 2025 Fall Schedule

The Nittany Lions open fall play at the Debbie Southern Fall Classic in Greenville, South Carolina from Sept. 12-14. Furman University will host the event. The team will close out the month of September with ITA All-Americans on Sept. 20-28 in Cary, North Carolina. 

October begins in Morgantown, West Virginia at the Martha Thorn Invitational from Oct. 3-5, hosted by West Virginia University. ITA Regionals will run from Oct. 9-14 on the campus of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Olivia Dorner and Maiko Uchijima won the double championship at the event a year ago. 

The Blue & White will travel to Lincoln, Nebraska from Nov. 3-9 for the Lincoln 15K event hosted by fellow Big Ten institution, the University of Nebraska. The squad will go to Chapel Hill, North Carolina for ITA Sectionals from Nov. 6-9.  

The fall campaign will conclude with the NCAA Singles and Doubles Championships from Nov. 18-23 in Lake Nona, Florida on the USTA National Campus. At last year’s event in Waco, Texas, Dorner and Uchijima became the first Nittany Lions since 2012 to compete at the NCAA Individual Championships.
