STARGAZING

  • DiMarsico became the first Nittany Lion all-time to register multiple hat-tricks in the same season as he scored three times last Friday before adding three assists the following night. With six goals through the opening six games of the season DiMarsico is currently tied for second in the nation for goal scoring just one goal shy of linemate JJ Wiebusch’s seven.
  • Penn State has now had a player score three or more goals in each series opener so far this season following DiMarsico’s hat-tricks against ASU and LIU and Wiebusch’s four-goal game against Clarkson.
  • With 11 points on the season DiMarsico is tied for third in the Big Ten and fifth nationally entering the weekend.

THE B-T-B BOYS

  • DiMarsico is joined by sophomore classmates JJ Wiebusch and Charlie Cerrato to form the highest scoring trio in the nation. The three have combined for 38 points on 17 goals and 21 assists through the opening six games this season averaging 2.83 goals and 4.67 points per game.
  • Dating back to the end of last season, the trio has been held off the score sheet just once over the last 15 games.
