UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – Penn State Athletics is set to host its first-ever Winter Sports Weekend from Jan. 30 to Feb. 1. During this three-day window, 15 athletics events will take place, including the first-ever men’s and women’s ice hockey games in West Shore Home Field at Beaver Stadium, as well as other community activities.
As a reminder, mobile ticketing is in effect for entry into West Shore Home Field at Beaver Stadium. Fans are asked to make sure they have the Penn State Athletics Mobile App, presented by Venmo, downloaded and updated ahead of the game. The app is available on Apple and the Google Play store. Winter Weekend Ticket Packages
- Ticket flex plans are available to allow fans to enjoy multiple of these campus sporting events throughout the weekend. There is a three-game option and a pair of different two-game options.
- The three-game option includes tickets to each of the following events for just $99:
- Friday, January 30 - Wrestling vs. Nebraska at the BJC – 8 p.m.
- Saturday, January 31 – Men’s Hockey vs. Michigan State at West Shore Home Field at Beaver Stadium – 1 p.m.
- Sunday, February 1 – Men’s Basketball vs. Minnesota at the Bryce Jordan Center – 2 p.m.
- The two-game package includes a ticket to the men’s hockey game at West Shore Home Field at Beaver Stadium on Saturday and your choice of either wrestling on Friday night for $77 or men’s basketball on Sunday afternoon for $51.
MEN’S HOCKEY AT WEST SHORE HOME FIELD AT BEAVER STADIUM
Parking
- Parking lots will open at 7 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 31.
- Parking for the event will range from $40-$100 and is located in paved and plowable lots around the stadium and in surrounding areas.
- A map with specific lots and pricing is available HERE. All paved parking around the stadium is sold out as well as ADA parking. Day of sales will be available at campus parking decks.
- Prices will increase by $20 on event day. Purchasing event-day parking is credit card only.
- Mobile parking is the exclusive delivery method as printed parking passes will not be issued. Please save your mobile parking pass(es) to your Apple Wallet or Google Wallet prior to arriving on campus. Passes are valid only for the lot listed on the mobile parking pass.
- RV and bus parking will not be made available for this event.

- Fullington and CATA will be providing transportation options around State College.

Happy Valley Hospitality and Tailgating Reminders
- Penn State Athletics reminds fans to be respectful, show their Happy Valley Hospitality and exhibit the behaviors to make West Shore Home Field at Beaver Stadium game day safe. Be loud, proud, respectful, responsible, great fans and gracious hosts.
- Fans are asked to follow Penn State University tailgating policies and be courteous to others. A list of prohibited items and activities can be found HERE.
- Fans are asked to please be alert to cars entering and exiting the parking lot.
- Intercollegiate Athletics has also worked diligently on recycling and sustainability across ICA events and activities. Those sustainability efforts include making recycling bags available in the West Shore Home Field at Beaver Stadium parking lots. Fans are encouraged to be environmentally responsible and participate in Penn State’s recycling and sustainability efforts by separating recyclable items before, during and after the game.
- Blue recycling bags and clear trash bags are located throughout the West Shore Home Field at Beaver Stadium parking lots. Bottles and cans only should be placed in the blue recycling bags. All other items should be placed in the clear trash bags.
West Side Access to the Stadium and ADA Gate Updates
- For fans entering the West side of the stadium, Gates B and C will be open with entry to the existing West side, where they can access their seats in the West lower bowl.
- Due to construction on the West side of the stadium, ADA access points have been moved.
- The two ADA entrances are located at the Club/Letterman entrance (next to Gate A in the Southeast corner) and the All-Sports Museum entrance (next to Gate B in the Southwest).
Penn State University’s Bag Policy
- Penn State University’s bag policy remains the same as the 2025 football season.
- Clear tote bags, which can be sized 12” x 6” x 12” or smaller, will be permitted.
- In addition, a 4” x 6” x 1” small clutch or wristlet will continue to be permissible.

Student Wristband Pick Up for Fast Pass Available Friday 10-5 Prior to Game Day
- Penn State Athletics will use the Fast Pass entry option for student ticket holders, as it does for football season.
- Student section wristbands will be available for pick up on Friday before the game, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the HUB main entrance on Pollock Road.
- Students will have to show their ticket and Penn State ID to receive their wristband. Students wanting to sit together on game day are encouraged come to the pick-up location together. Lost wristbands will not be replaced.
- On game day, students with a wristband will be able to access one of the Fast Pass lanes located at Gate A. Students will still be required to scan their ticket for entry but will avoid the lines and delays at the regular student entry points. The Fast Pass lanes are clearly marked and are located on the far-right side of Gate A.
Team Arrival
- Team arrival will take place at 11 a.m. featuring the Penn State cheerleaders, Lionettes dance team, Penn State Blue Band and the Nittany Lion mascot.
- Similar to football, the blue bus will drop off the team at the intersection of Porter and Curtin Roads, and the team will walk down Curtin Road and enter via the south tunnel of the stadium.
Mobile Ticketing
- Mobile ticketing continues to be the preferred delivery method for West Shore Home Field at Beaver Stadium. Mobile ticketing allows for improved ticket delivery, management and security.
- Fans are asked to make sure they have the Penn State Athletics Mobile App presented by Venmo downloaded and updated ahead of the game. Download the Penn State Nittany Lions App: Apple Android.
- Fans are asked to please make sure to download mobile tickets to your Apple Wallet or Google Pay on your phone in advance of game day.

- Multiple charging stations are located in and around West Shore Home Field at Beaver Stadium. The kiosks have charging units and adapters for iOS and Android devices.
- To assist in the gate entry process, mobile ticket scanners and walkthrough metal detectors are at every entry point.
OTHER EVENT INFORMATION
Information for Women’s Hockey at Beaver Stadium
- Penn State women’s hockey will host Robert Morris on Friday, Jan. 30 in Beaver Stadium at 1 p.m.
- Parking for the women’s game will be handled like a normal event day and can be purchased in advance (by 11:59 p.m. (ET) the day prior to each event) at a discounted rate of $5.60 on ParkWhiz. Parking can also be purchased at full price on the day of the event for $10 through HONK.
- Parking will be available in Stadium West, Jordan East and Porter North lots.
- Fans will enter the stadium via Gate A, located at the corner of Porter and Curtin Roads.
- Admission to the game is free and seating will be available on the east side of the stadium in sections ED, EE and EF.
- The team will arrive at Beaver Stadium via the blue busses at 11 a.m. The bus will drop the team off at the south tunnel.
Public Ice Skating Sessions
- Public ice skating sessions will be offered throughout Winter Weekend at West Shore Home Field at Beaver Stadium.
- Sessions are $30 per person, with skate rentals included. Advance registration is required. Fans can register here.
- Dates and times include:
- January 28: 12:30–1:30 p.m.
- January 30: 7:45–8:45 p.m.
- January 31: 8:15–9:15 p.m.
- February 1: 5:45–6:45 p.m.
- Each session has a limited capacity, so fans are encouraged to register early to secure a spot on the ice.
Weekend Bubble Hospitality
- Weekend fan hospitality will take place inside the indoor Bubble, located at the corner of Curtin Road and University Drive.
- Activities will be available Friday evening (4–8 p.m.) and Saturday (9 a.m.–5 p.m.).
- Food offerings inside the Bubble will include popcorn, assorted snacks, cookies and brownies, with a variety of food trucks located just outside the Bubble.
- A bar will be available, featuring beer, mixed drinks, spiked hot chocolate, specialty coffee, soda, and bottled water inside the bubble.
- Exclusive event merchandise will be for sale outside the Bubble along with a Curling station, make your own trading card, and DJ.
- Inside the Bubble, fans will also enjoy a Kids Zone, Equipment Sale, and other activations.
- A Nike surplus sale will also take place in the Bubble from 4-8 p.m. on Friday evening.
- On Saturday at 11:30 a.m., a Pep Rally will take place in the Bubble featuring the Penn State Spirit Squads and the Blue Band.
- A Spittin’ Chiclets appearance is scheduled for Saturday, with timing to be announced.
Penn State All-Sports Museum
- The Penn State All-Sports Museum will be open on the following days and times:
- Friday, January 30 - open to the public 10 a.m.-4 p.m., including during the women’s ice hockey game.
- Saturday, January 31- open to men’s Hockey game attendees only. Once inside the stadium, take the south end elevator down to Level 2. Fans may return to their seats after visiting the museum by taking the elevator back to the concourse (level 3) or club (level 4).
- Sunday, February 1 - open to the public noon-4pm.
- Suggested donations for Museum visitation: $8/adult, $5/students & seniors.
