PRINCETON, N.J. – The Penn State swim and dive teams continued their season on the road against Princeton. Both teams fell to the Tigers.
Cooper Morley and Mariano Lazzerini led the effort for the Nittany Lions on the men’s side, with both earning top finishes in their respective events. On the women’s side, Morgan Moore and Margaret Markvardt tallied two first-place finishes.
Men:

Morley’s 46.60 in the 100 back and 1:43.97 in the 200 back were both good for first place.
Lazzerini continued his dominance in the 200 breast, winning the event with a 1:53.60.
Rylan Anselm touched the podium multiple times, earning second in the 50 free (19.97) and third in the 1000 free (9:07.80).
Eduardo Cisternas grabbed second place in the 500 free, with a 4:23.09. Cisternas also earned a third-place finish, swimming a 1:36.56, in the 200 free.
Toni Slavica posted a 44.44 in the 100 free, good for third place. Matthew Bittner posted a 48.18 in the 100 fly, earning him third place. Vicente Villanueva grabbed his own spot on
the podium, taking home third in the 200 IM with a time of 1:49.31.
Relays:
The relay team of Bittner, Lazzerini, Morley, and Jake Kennedy placed second in the 200-medley relay with a 1:25.46, just .23 seconds shy of first place.
The Nittany Lions claimed second in the 400 free relay, with Anselm, Lazzerini, Slavica, and Bittner posting a 2:56.14.
Diving:

Catherine Meisner grabbed second in the 200 free, boasting a 1:47.80. Cyrah Robinson touched third in the 50 free, posting a 23.14.
Relays:
The 200-medley relay team of Margaret Markvardt, Audrey Cohen, Cyrah Robinson, and Katie Ketter swam a 1:40.02, good for second place.
The 400-medley relay team of Robinson, Ketter, Julia Shafer, and Markvardt posted a 3:23.89, also good for second place.
