Men’s Tennis Falls to No. 26 USC 0-7 on the Road

The Nittany Lions are now 14-9 for the season

LOS ANGELES, Calif.- The Penn State men’s tennis team lost its road battle against No. 26 USC 0-7 on Friday night. The Nittany Lions are now 14-9 on the season and 2-6 in the conference. 

 

 

Doubles 

 

Reiya Hattori and Eyal Shyovitz fell to Max Exsted and Nathan Trouve 2-6 on court two. 

Marcus Schoeman and Christos Glavas were defeated by Connor Church and Pablo Robledo 3-6 on court three. 

Michael Wright and David Lindsay faced Andrin Casanova and Jack McCarthy on court one, but the match was abandoned at 4-5 since USC had clinched the doubles point. 

 

 

Singles 

 

Shyovitz fell to Church on court five 1-6, 0-6. 

Wright was defeated by Branko Djuric on court one 3-6, 0-6. 

Schoeman fought against Exsted on court two, but fell 3-6, 3-6. 

Lindsay was defeated by Casanova 6-7 (2-7), 3-6 on court four. 

Hattori fell to McCarthy 0-6, 6-7 (3-7) in spot three. 

Kyle Chesman took on Niels Hoffman on court six, but was defeated 6-7 (2-7), 2-6.
