UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – Penn State track & field concluded its outdoor regular season when it wrapped up competition in the Larry Ellis Invitational Saturday.
Skye Petrie-Cameron left the biggest mark during the second day of competition. The freshman earned the fifth-furthest shot put distance in program history, recording a 54-8.75 (16.68m), good enough for second place.
EVENT SUMMARY
Hannah Riolo began the day in the women’s high jump, taking second place at 5-10.50 (1.79m), nearly matching her personal record set at the Bison Outdoor Classic.
Moving to the track events, where Addyson White ran a 1:02.35 for eighth place in the women’s 400-meter hurdles. Kylie Jacoutot finished one spot behind at 1:02.65. The men’s event featured Matt DeMatteo clock a fourth-place 52.21.
The women’s 200-meter dash saw Alexandria North score the third runner-up finish of the day for Penn State. North ran a 24.22, while Mimi Duffy placed 11th at 24.94.
UP NEXT
Penn State begins its outdoor postseason with the Big Ten Outdoor Championships in Lincoln, Nebraska. The three-day meet begins Friday, May 15 and concludes Saturday, May 17.
