UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – The Penn State baseball team welcomes Washington for its final home series of the 2026 season this weekend, May 8-10, at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park. The three-game Big Ten series will begin on Friday with a doubleheader at 2 p.m. Game three of the series, which includes the Senior Day celebration, is to be determined for Saturday or Sunday. Friday’s doubleheader will be streamed on B1G+. All games at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park are free admission for all ages.
Please note Friday was originally scheduled for one game at 5:30 p.m. and has been adjusted to a doubleheader at 2 p.m.
On Friday, Penn State Men’s Volleyball head coach Mark Pavlik will throw the first pitch before game 1.
Game three is Senior Day Presented by the Penn State Alumni Association as PSU celebrates 15 seniors: Michael Anderson, Jayden Davis, Joey DeMucci, Colin Fitzgerald, Jesse Jaconski, Kevin Karstetter, Dimond Loosli, Maddox McDonald, Cohl Mercado, Bryce Molinaro, Logan Olson, Jack Porter, Skip Shenosky, Justin Turcovski and Nate Voss.
Due to Penn State graduation ceremonies, fans should allow for extra time getting to the games this weekend. Fans can park in the Porter North and Jordan East lots.
Penn State, led by head coach Mike Gambino, owns 13 wins this season (six in Big Ten play) after taking last Sunday’s series finale against Minnesota.
Washington, coached by Eddie Smith, is 21-27 overall (10-14 Big Ten) after picking up one win against No. 13 Oregon last weekend and falling 4-3 against Seattle on Tuesday.
