AS A JUNIOR IN 2011: Ranked fourth on the team with 16 appearances and led Penn State with five saves while anchoring the backend of the bullpen ... Picked up his first win of the year in the season opener against Seton Hall on February 18 ... Worked 3.2 innings of relief, allowing just one earned run while scattering three hits during the 8-6 victory ... Earned his first save against NC State on March 4 after firing a perfect inning against the Wolfpack to seal a 3-2 victory ... Pieced together a string of six straight appearances without allowing an earned run from March 8-27 ... Tossed 4.2 innings of relief against Old Dominion and picked up the victory after scattering three hits with two strikeouts against the Monarchs on March 8 ... AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2010: Solid sophomore season, going 3-3 with a 5.86 ERA before going down with an injury late in the season ... Still threw 54.0 innings, fourth in the team while striking out 26 ... Ended up appearing in 10 games, starting nine of them ... Picked up third win of the season in the series finale at Ohio State (4/25), allowing only two runs on seven hits in 5.1 innings. Also struck out five ... Went a career-high 7.1 innings in impressive start vs. Northwestern (4/10), allowing only one earned run with two strikeouts ... Dazzled in pitching first-career complete game in doubleheader win over Hofstra. Went the full seven, allowing only four hits and one earned run ... AS A FRESHMAN IN 2009: Enjoyed an outstanding freshman campaigning capped off by Third Team All-Big Ten accolades ...
