The Penn State Baseball Prospect Camp is open to boys in grades 8-12. This one-day competitive camp is specifically designed for more advanced players who are serious about raising their skills in preparation for playing baseball beyond high school.
Each player will learn the same skills and techniques that the Penn State Baseball players use to develop their game. Players will have an excellent opportunity to demonstrate their abilities and showcase their talent under the direct supervision and evaluation of the Penn State coaching staff.
Pitchers will learn fundamental delivery mechanics, proper pitch grips, and drills to improve arm strength (velocity) and control.
Catchers will be drilled in the areas of receiving, framing, and blocking techniques.
Position players will receive instruction in the areas of hitting, throwing, fielding, and running.
Note: Players may register for both sessions by selecting the Combined Prospect Camp option.

Meal: Not provided. Bring your own lunch/snacks and water bottle to fill at camp. Water will be provided.

PM Session - Position Players / 1:30 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Both Sessions - 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (Bring your own lunch)

Holuba Hall is primarily the indoor practice facility that serves as a practice and competition facility for many of Penn State's athletic teams. Featuring two indoor 80-yard practice fields side-by-side, the 118,000-square foot facility has a new field turf surface and plenty of space for everything from indoor golf and baseball practice to lacrosse competitions and soccer workouts.

Facility
Medlar Field at Lubrano Park, the home of the Nittany Lion baseball team is arguably one of the best collegiate stadiums in the country. A spacious clubhouse welcomes the Nittany Lions with a locker room, an expanded training room, a weight room, a team lounge and an indoor batting cage which also includes two dirt mounds for pitchers to work off of in inclement weather and opens directly into the Penn State bullpen on the right field line.
