AS A JUNIOR IN 2012: Appeared in 16 games in his junior campaign, all out of the bullpen ... Pitched a total of 8.1 innings with nine strikeouts and only seven earned runs ... Made season debut on Feb. 17 against Seton Hall, firing .2 innings against the Pirates ... Held Coppin State hitless on March 28, striking out one batter ... Earned first save of the season against Kent State (April 3), striking out one in two-thirds of an inning ... Came in againt Mount St. Mary[apos]s on April 24 to earn his second save, striking out the side in the ninth inning ... Aided the Lions in posting a 6-4 win over Kent State on April 25, allowing just one hit and striking out one batter in 1.0 inning ... Saw the most action against Ohio State on April 27, firing 1.1 innings while allowing one hit and holding the Buckeyes scoreless ... Earned first win of the season on May 12 against Big Ten opponent Illinois ... Struck out one batter and held the Illini hitless with ... Posted a six-game streak with opponents held hitless, as well as a five-game streak where opponents were held scoreless.
AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2011: Appeared in eight games during his first season with the Nittany Lions ... Tossed 11.0 innings of work while scattering 13 hits and seven earned runs ... Started one game during the season and pieced together his finest performance of the year against Niagara on May 10 ... Fired four innings and allowed just one run during a 4-1 victory against the Purple Eagles ... Worked two scoreless innings against No. 26 Wichita State on March 18, allowing just one base runner during his time on the mound ... Retired all three batters he faced on just seven pitches against Minnesota during the Big Ten Tournament on May 26 ... Made his collegiate debut against Eastern Kentucky on February 27 ... Also saw action against NC State on March 5, Le Moyne on March 27, Purdue on April 17 and Iowa on May 6.
