2015 (JUNIOR)
Season: Enjoyed a career season with eight home runs (7th in Big Ten), 38 RBIs, 13 doubles, 14 stolen bases on 15 attempts, 101 total bases and a .495 slugging percentage to lead team in all categories … First to lead the team in home runs and stolen bases since Sean Deegan (12 HR, 14 SB) in 2011 … Enjoyed a career and team-best 16-game hitting streak (4/10-5/8), hitting .348 with two doubles, a triple, five home runs, 16 RBIs and five stolen bases … Only Lion to start and play in all 48 games during the season … Batted .284 overall (third on team) and .305 in Big Ten games (second) … Total of 20 RBIs in B1G contests was double the next highest total on the team … Ranked second on the team with 58 hits (career high), three triples (tying career high) and 34 runs scored … Lone caught stealing was on a rundown play that allowed a runner to score from third at West Virginia (4/14) … Primarily played in the outfield with early season starts at designated hitter. At Charleston Southern (3/6-8): Had one hit in all three games to extend four-game hitting streak … Drove in a run in the second game … Singled, walked and scored two runs in finale. Vs. Western Carolina (3/13): Went 2-for-4 with two doubles and a run. At Pittsburgh (3/17): Drove in the deciding runs in a 12-inning win, tying it in the third with an RBI-double, and then singling with runners on the corners in the 12th for the go-ahead run. Canisius (3/17): Went 3-for-5 with a career-high two stolen bases and two runs scored. No. 21 Indiana (3/22): Contributed to Penn State’s first victory over a nationally-ranked team since 2012 going 2-for-6 with an RBI and two runs scored. Villanova (3/25): Doubled to center in a 1-2 count with two outs and the bases loaded in the bottom of the eighth inning to drive in the go-ahead runs for a 5-2 victory. Central Connecticut State (3/29): Combined in a doubleheader to go 3-for-10 with a double, triple, stolen base, four RBIs and four runs scored … Started six-game hitting streak. Kent State (4/1): Drove in career-high five runs on two home runs into the right field bleachers … First multi-home run game of career. At Ohio State (4/4-6): Went 5-for-13 with a three-run home run, two doubles and five RBIs in three games, extending hitting streak to six games. Michigan (4/10-12): Started 16-game hitting streak … Had one hit in each game of the series including a two-run home run in the second. At West Virginia (4/14): Went 2-for-4 with an RBI, run scored and stolen base. At Minnesota (4/17-19): Extended hitting streak to eight games during the three-game series … Hit fifth home run of the season in first game of series … In total, went 4-for-12 with a double, two RBIs and three runs. Illinois (4/24-26): Reached base four times in opener going 2-for-2 walk and hit by pitch while tallying an RBI … Tripled and stole a base while going 2-for-7 in 15-inning contest (4/25) … Went 1-for-3 with two RBIs in finale. Pittsburgh (4/29): Hit sixth home run of the season for the first of three in the next four games … Went 2-for-5 with two runs scored. Rutgers (5/1-3): 5-for-12 with six RBIs, two home runs, a triple and five runs scored … Went 2-for-4 with a home run in opener … Hit a bases clearing triple as part of a four-RBI game to lead Penn State to victory after an early eight-run deficit … Homered again in series and home finale to extend hitting streak to 16 games. At Michigan State (5/9): Doubled twice and went 3-for-5.
2014 (REDSHIRT SOPHOMORE)
Season: Saw time in 48 games, making 47 starts ... Led the team with nine doubles, three triples and 27 RBIs, while being tied for the team lead with two home runs ... Finished second on the squad with 179 at-bats and 25 runs scored. Vs. Hofstra (3/2): Notched a triple, two RBIs and scored two runs. At Saint Mary's (3/9): Drove in a career-high three runs on a 2-for-4 performance at the plate. Vs. NYIT (3/18): Went 2-for-5 with a double and two runs scored. Vs. Bucknell (3/22): Notched a personal-best three hits, tying his career-high with three RBIs and a triple in the first game of a doubleheader. (3/23-4/5) Went on a six-game hitting streak from March 23 to April 5 and included a 2-for-3, three-RBI and two runs scored performance vs. Youngstown State (4/1). At Purdue (4/6) Tied his career-best with three hits (3-for-4). At Nebraska (5/2) Recorded a double and his first home run of the season ... Michigan State (5/16) Hit second home run of the season.

Started in 42-of-46 contests for the Spartans ... Ended his rookie season with a .309 batting average, collecting 54 hits, 37 runs and 36 RBIs ... Hit 11 doubles, one triple and four home runs.
