2016 (JUNIOR)
Awards: Academic All-Big Ten. Season: Led team with two appearances in combined shutouts ...Career-high 43 1/3 innings pitched ranked fifth on the team and second amongst relievers. Made 20 appearances, all in relief, to rank second on the team in the category ... Posted a 2.28 ERA and 2-3 record ñ both career bests. Did not allow an earned run in nine consecutive appearances from 3/18 (Niagara) to 4/15 (Northwestern). Monmouth (2/19): Made season debut with three scoreless innings and a strikeout. At UNCW (3/6) & vs. Princeton (3/12): Combined to throw 8 2/3 innings in consecutive appearances, tossing four innings at UNCW and 4 2/3 against Princeton ... Yielded a combined three runs and struck out a season-high four in each game. Niagara (3/18): Threw 1 2/3 scoreless innings with two strikeouts. West Virginia (3/22): Pitched 2 1/3 innings and punched out one to earn his first win of the season. Youngstown State (3/29): Pitched the final four innings and only yielded two hits and a walk while striking out two to earn his first and only save of the season. Purdue (4/1-2 G1): Appeared in back-to-back games yielding just two walks in 2 1/3 innings pitched. Pittsburgh (4/5): Pitched two scoreless innings, fanning three with no walks in a combined shutout victory. Bucknell (4/13) & at Northwestern (4/15): Extended scoreless appearance streak to nine games, combining to throw 2 2/3 innings and strikeout four. Maryland (4/30): Threw two scoreless innings to keep a 2-0 shutout victory intact. Pittsburgh (5/11): Pitched 1 2/3 scoreless innings to pick up his second win of the season. Iowa (5/20): Struck out one and allowed one hit in one inning pitched in final appearance of the season.
2015 CUBA TRIP
One of two pitchers to make two appearances in relief during the four-game Cuba Baseball Friendship Tournament ... Led team with 2 1/3 innings of relief ... Allowed a run on two hits and struck out one in one inning of work against Ciego de ¡vila, the defending champions of the Cuban National Series ... Pitched 1 1/3 innings of scoreless relief, striking out one and allowing just a hit, in series finale at Matanzas.
2015 (SOPHOMORE)

Career-high 41 2/3 innings pitched ranked fourth on the team. At Elon (2/13): Made debut in season opener, pitching 3 1/3 innings with three strikeouts. At No. 23 Texas A&M (2/20, 22): Pitched an inning in series opener and retired lone batter faced in the finale. At Pitt (3/17), Central Connecticut State (3/29) & Kent State (4/1): Held three opponents scoreless in consecutive outings pitching a combined 6 1/3 innings ... Struck out three and allowed just one hit in 3 1/3 innings against Kent State. Michigan (4/11): Held Wolverines in 1 1/3 inning outing. At West Virginia (4/14): Made first start of season ... Allowed just one run three hits and two walks with two strikeouts over four innings. At Kent State (4/21): Threw a season-high five innings of relief to earn win, striking out three and allowing one run on one hit and two walks. Rutgers (5/3): Struck out a career-high four in second start of the season ... Allowed two runs in 5 1/3 innings. At Michigan State (5/10): Pitched a career-high 6 2/3 innings in start.
2014 (FRESHMAN)
Season: Made 17 appearances, including two starts ... Compiled a 4.14 ERA, third-best on the team of players with five or more appearances ... Third on the team with 17 appearances ... Pitched 41.1 innings. At USF (2/22): Made his Penn State debut, not allowing a run, striking out one and giving up just one hit in one inning. At Fresno State (3/12): Made his first career start. NYIT (3/19): Struck out two in three innings. Northwestern (3/29): Threw a career-high 5 2/3 innings of relief, giving up just two hits and securing the win. At Purdue (4/5): Threw four innings in the first game of a doubleheader, earning his second win of the season. Vs. West Virginia (4/8) & at Ohio State (4/13): Struck out four batters in a combined five innings pitched in back-to-back games. Vs. Illinois (4/20): Filled in with five innings of relief, giving up just two earned runs. Vs. No. 19 Indiana (5/11): Fanned two hitters and didn't allow a run in 1.2 innings.
