AS A REDSHIRT SOPHOMORE IN 2013: Earned eight starts while appearing in 11 games as a sophomore ... His eight starts ranked third on the team ... Came on in relief for an inning, allowing no earned runs and no hits at Houston on March 5 ... Recorded the first win of his career against Houston Baptist on March 8, tossing 4.1 innings in relief while giving up one run on two hits ... Made his first career start at Temple on March 17 ...
