2015 (JUNIOR)
Season: Led off weekend pitching rotation and tied for team lead with 13 starts … Also led team with 75 innings pitched and 42 strikeouts … Averaged a team-low 0.25 walks per inning amongst pitchers with 20-plus innings pitched … Posted a 3-7 record and 5.28 ERA. At Elon (2/13): Started season-opener. At Charleston Southern (3/6): Struck out four and allowed two runs on seven hits and a walk in seven innings pitched. Vs. Western Carolina (3/13): Struck out six in 6 1/3 innings. Central Connecticut (3/27): Struck out a career-high eight batters in 5 2/3 shutout innings. Michigan (4/10): Threw seven shutout innings, surrendering just six hits and three walks, to earn win. At Minnesota (4/17): Struck out seven in a career-high 7 2/3 innings. Rutgers (5/1): Allowed just one run in six innings, scattering seven hits and a walk with three strikeouts to earn win. At Michigan State (5/8): Earned second consecutive win holding Spartans to three runs (one earned) on eight hits.
2014 (SOPHOMORE)
Season: Ranked second on the team with nine starts and totaled 12 appearances. At Gardner-Webb (2/16): Earned his first start in the second game of a doubleheader, striking out a career-high four. NYIT (3/19) & at Bucknell (3/23 G2): Had back-to-back shutout starts ... Picked up a win vs. the Bears ... Allowed just three hits in each outing, including three innings of work against the Bears and four against the Bison. Kent State (4/22) & Minnesota (4/26): Posted back-to-back shutout relief appearances, holding Kent State scoreless for two innings and Minnesota scoreless for one frame in the second game of a doubleheader ... Vs. Michigan State (5/16): Put together a season-high six innings of work, also tying his season-high with four strikeouts.
2013 (FRESHMAN)
Season: Started five games and came in out of the bullpen in 11 to total 16 appearances during his rookie season ... Racked up 39 1/3 innings on the mound and 20 strikeouts. At East Tennessee State (2/16): Made his Penn State debut. At Houston (3/5) Came out of the bullpen to throw 4 1/3 innings, allowing no earned runs and striking out his first batter in a Penn State uniform. Vs. Houston Baptist (3/9): Got two outs in relief. Kent State (4/9): Earned his first start. At Michigan (4/14): Made a relief appearance, going 1 2/3 innings and allowing no runs on just one hit. La Salle (4/23): Recorded the longest start of his season, pitching 6 2/3 innings and striking out seven in the win. Minnesota (May 5): Threw 1 1/3 innings of hitless baseball out of the bullpen with a strikeout in the 4-3 victory. At Illinois (5/10): Struck out one batter and gave up one hit in 2 1/3 innings. At Illinois (5/12): Pitched a shutout over five innings of work, allowing one hit and striking out two.
